I saw a ton of bad reviews about this company so I was shy to rent from them - however when we moved it was our best option. For the most part, we've actually had a really positive experience! All maintenance issues are handled promptly, and they've been nice. Our move in process was seamless. Aside from some issues that they did fix, it's been pretty smooth sailing. There have been a few things that weren't taken care of prior to move in (which doesn't shock me with a large conglomerate management company like this - things fall between the cracks, it's just what happens). People just need to understand that there's a big difference in renting from a huge company and a small home town PM rental company. Thanks AMH for being good to us this far.

AMH often gets a bad rap, but our experience in Daybreak tells a different story. Despite the circumstances that led us to choose their property, we found our tenure with AMH to be rewarding. Living in Daybreak, we faced the challenge of finding a rental home amidst uncertain circumstances. However, our decision to rent from AMH proved to be a wise one. From the outset, we treated the property as our own, investing time and effort into making it a comfortable and welcoming space. We paid for Weekly professional cleanings and quarterly bug sprays, and experienced timely maintenance requests, and respectful living were the norm for us. Throughout our lease, Richard Underwood, our property manager, was a beacon of professionalism. His responsiveness and honesty were invaluable, fostering a positive landlord-tenant relationship. As a commercial property manager myself, I understand the importance of caring for a home, and it's entirely possible to receive a full security deposit refund if you leave the property in excellent condition. AMH exemplified this principle, rewarding our efforts with a fair return of our deposit. To prospective renters considering AMH, my advice is simple: treat the home with the utmost respect, and AMH will reciprocate. Our experience in Daybreak was a testament to this, and we only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you, AMH, for providing us with a home where cherished memories were made.
